No matter your politics, I recommend the docudrama “ The Loudest Voice” on Showtime. It details Ailes building of Fox News. Like it or not, one has to accept that Ailes was one of the most influential people so far in this century (That I have to say that appalls me). He certainly solidified the giant divide in our country and encouraged propaganda presented as news. He has contributed to the fact that many in this country get their “news” only from outlets that agree with their view of the world and I think he got Trump elected. By all accounts, he was a brilliant, charismatic leader, cynical, manipulative and abusive in his use of power in many ways. As a male, I am disgusted to think that Ailes and other powerful men used their power to exploit women.
Russell Crowe will surely be a candidate for an Emmy for his performance.
